Dr. Thomas Vahdani received his B.S. in Medical Microbiology, with a minor in Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach, graduating with high honors in 1996. He earned a D.D.S. from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2003 and was the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award in Implant Dentistry. He was also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in June 2011. He has past affiliations with the California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society (OCDS), North Orange County Implant Study Group, and was president of the Orange County Dental Society Dental Health Foundation, a 501-C non-profit organization, dedicating his time providing care for children and adult in Orange County, California. Dr. Vahdani has been recognized numerous times by the Orange County Dental Society for his efforts and dedication toward improving the oral health of the children in his community. Dr. Vahdani was honored the OCDS Member of the Year award in 2005. Dr. Vahdani is an active participant in the ADA's Give Kids a Smile program that enhances the oral health of large numbers of needy children. Dr. Vahdani was a part-faculty member at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry, where he served as a Lecturer/Clinical Faculty for four years. He also maintained a private practice in Southern California prior to moving to Richmond, VA and joining Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry in 2011, as a full time faculty member, where he maintains a private practice in aesthetic, restorative and implant dentistry.
