Dr. Thomas Koertge has been with the VCU School of Dentistry Department of Periodontics since 1982. He is currently an associate professor in the Departments of Periodontics, and Microbiology and Immunology. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Dentistry (1978). He earned a specialty certificate in periodontics at the University of Iowa in 1981 and a PhD in Microbiology of Immunology in 1983. He currently provides services in all areas of periodontics.
