The Office of Information Technology supplies computer and technology resources that support the mission of the school. Working with VCU Technology Services, the office provides infrastructure, applications, services and support to students, faculty and staff.

Helpdesk

Students, Faculty and Staff may request computer, web site, or axiUm support by submitting a work order online. The office will make every attempt to respond as quickly as possible. Please allow two hours for critical calls and 24 hours for non-critical calls.

Services for Students

The Computers In Dentistry (CID) Lab, located in Lyons A-019, is a 30-computer lab with scanning and printing services available for student use on a 24-7 basis. Assistance is available by ringing the doorbell in the lab during office hours.

Services for Faculty and Staff

The IT Office staff performs remedial and preventative maintenance on personal computers housed in the Wood, Lyons, and Perkinson buildings. Technicians will respond to PC helpdesk tickets as demand dictates. Printer repairs are outsourced after the PCC diagnoses the problem.
