Pamela Regimbal, D.D.S.
Alumna (D.D.S. ’86)
The education that Pamela Regimbal, D.D.S., received at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry has served her — and the local community — well. Through her practice, Aloha Orthodontics in Mechanicsville, Va., Regimbal has treated patients in the Richmond area for more than 20 years.
“VCU has provided great educational opportunities for me to learn — both in the dental school and as an orthodontist,” she said.
Regimbal, a native of Taiwan who came to the U.S. with her family at age 10, attributes much of the school’s success to alumni involvement.
“I reflect back a lot on our days at dental school,” she said. “We wouldn’t have been there if it weren’t for the generosity and talent of the people who had given to the school.”
Regimbal has carried on that tradition well. In addition to teaching the next generation as an adjunct professor and serving as an advisory board member, she has also assisted with the school’s fundraising efforts for alumni campaigns.
“So that we have an opportunity to continue to grow, I want to make sure that I contribute to ensuring the success of future students,” she said. “It’s important for us all to help the school be successful. I also give back to show my appreciation for what the program has given me.”
