Bhavna Shroff, D.D.S., M.Dent.Sc., M.P.A.
Professor and director, Postgraduate Orthodontic Program
As postgraduate program director for the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Orthodontics, Bhavna Shroff, D.D.S., M.Dent.Sc., M.P.A. uses her tremendous drive and talent to mentor many future orthodontists.

Shroff was born and educated in Paris, France, where she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the Université Paris V René Descartes before receiving a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters in Dental Sciences from the University of Connecticut. Since joining the faculty at VCU, Shroff has earned as Masters in Public Administration and lectures widely in the U.S. and Europe, as well as in parts of Asia.
In her free time, Shroff enjoys traveling around the world, art and classical music. She returns to visit her family several times a year in Paris.
But most of all, Shroff enjoys working with residents and faculty members in her capacity as program director, maintaining national and international visibility to the program.
"We recruit from all over the U.S. and the world," she said. "It is a very competitive program because the excellence of our students makes the excellence of the program. In 24 months, we will prepare a confident, excellent orthodontist ready for private practice. We get down to business - we help, we serve, we practice dentistry."
