The VCU Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is dedicated to excellence in providing predoctoral and postdoctoral education that will prepare our graduates to practice the contemporary scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, to render the highest quality specialized patient care, to contribute to new knowledge in the field through research and other scholarly activities, and to provide service to the community and the profession
